By these steps to solve the problem "Application OTDR.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down",
1. Contact our sales or tech support team to get upgrade package (software)
2. Copy the package to the root directory of USB Disc (NOT TF/SD card)
3. plug the USB disc to OTDR. (if OTDR does not read your USB disc, format it to FAT32, instead of NTFS. Then go back to step 2)
4. In OTDR, main page -> setting -> upgrade. During the upgrade procedure, do not turn off manually. The OTDR itself will turn off and then turn on automantically.
